He
arranges for them to be seen as quickly as possible, in
the most convenient circumstances, and by the most qualified
practitioner. He monitors their treatment every step of
the way, and makes sure that any drugs they’re given
are the safest and best for the job, and not purely chosen
on price. He then makes sure that they’re kept fully
informed on their progress, and that they’re treated
with respect at all times.
And he’s able to
do all that, not because of
who he knows, but because of what he knows about
the NHS and how to get the best out of it.
Earlier this year, I had a friend fall
ill with a potentially serious illness. She and her husband
were frightened, vulnerable and at the mercy of an NHS which
treated them just like one more number to be processed.
Thankfully, she recovered, but not before a great deal of
unnecessary delay, pain, and heartache.
Every time I recounted their story to
someone, the person I was talking to almost always came
back with a tale even more horrific. It became obvious that
the problem of shoddy, disrespectful and downright dangerous
NHS treatment was more widespread than I’d imagined.
It became clear
that there was a
need for hard-hitting, no-holds barred
inside information which would put NHS users
firmly back in control of their health,
their treatment and their lives.
So I commissioned a senior hospital consultant
to work with one of our most experienced writers to create
a ground breaking handbook which would lift the lid
on the ‘insider’ techniques and strategies available
to ordinary NHS users...techniques and strategies which
most ‘ordinary’ people simply don’t know
about...
If your doctor
needed to use the NHS for his
friends or family, this is the information
he’d use to secure the fastest, safest and
most effective treatment for them.
‘The NHS Patient’s Insider
Handbook’ is without doubt, the most important
book we’ve ever published. It contains ‘life
or death’ information you simply won’t find
anywhere else. Every family in the UK should have a copy.
Please take a few minutes to read the enclosed letter from
Streetwise Health’s Research Manager, Lysette Eden.
I’ve not even scratched the surface of what you’ll
find in the handbook in this brief introduction. Even if
you decide, for whatever reason, that the book isn’t
for you, Lisette’s letter contains information which
might just save your life one day.
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
and despatching your handbook.
Very Best Wishes,

John Harrison
